healthy granola with matcha recipe
A healthy matcha granola recipe that you’ve all been waiting for! Some call it granola recipe, some would call it a muesli recipe! Whatever it is, it’s crispy, crunchy filled with natural protein, natural fibre and healthy fats! Welcome to your super delicious and easy recipe, to make a low-sugar granola in under 30 mins!
Ingredients to make Healthy Matcha Granola:
- 3 cups Rolled Oats
- 1 cup Flaked Almonds
- 1 cup Walnuts
- 1/4 cup Sunflower Seeds
- 1/4 cup Pumpkin Seeds / Pepitas
- 1/4 cup Chia Seeds
- 2 tbsp Hemp Seeds
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
- 1 cup Peanut Butter
- 2 tbsp Periwinkle Pat Matcha
- 2 tbsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Note: Add any nuts/seeds you like! You definitely don’t have to stick to these exact nuts/qties! Mix it up! You can’t really go wrong!
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 150 Degrees Celcius (Fan Forced oven)
2. In a big mixing bowl, pop in all the ingredients and mix well so all ingredients are well incorporated!
4. Divide mixture into 2x baking trays lined with baking paper, and spread out so it’s an even layer!
5. Pop into the oven for 18 - 20 mins (open the oven and mix up the granola around 2-3 times during the cooking process so nothing burns and the granola cooks evenly!
6. Once the granola is golden brown, take it out of the oven and let the granola sit in the tray until cool completely, store in an airtight container, and enjoy your amazing granola creation with yogurt, fruit, or as it is!
